Sweetness
How much sweetness does the coffee have? When talking about green coffee bean, it contains a reasonable quantity of simple sugars. These sugars are quite reactive during roasting process and undergone either caramelization or Maillard reactions. The sugars become less sweet and eventually start to add bitterness and aromatic compounds to the coffee. Sweetness is a very desirable trait in coffee but not necessary the more the better especially when it comes to 3 in 1 instant coffee. 3 in 1 instant coffee with added too much sugar will not only cover the bitterness of the coffee but also not good for health.

Acidity
How acidity is the coffee? And how pleasant is the acidity? If there is too much unpleasant acidity, the coffee will be described as sour. Coffee beans contains many different types of acids, some of which are pleasant to taste and some that are not. Coffee roasting process plays an important role to react the unpleasant acids away without creating negative flavours. The longer a coffee is roasted, the less acidity it will have in the end. Acidity of the 3 in 1 instant coffee is solely depends on the type of beans used to produce the instant coffee powder.

Bitterness
How bitter is the coffee? Bitterness will slowly increase the longer a coffee is roasted, and the colour of the bean will definitely become darker. In 3 in 1 instant coffee, some other ingredients like sugar and non-dairy creamers are added in order to partially mask the bitterness of coffee so to make a well-balanced coffee drinks that everyone can accept.
